During our time in Washington we also took some time to drive over to Kennewick to visit some of my family in that area. We camped in my aunt and uncle's driveway and visited them and some of my cousins. The highlight for the girls was the nerf war for sure (pictures here). It was so great to spend time with people we don't get to see very often.
Scott and I also got to introduce the girls to somethings we both love--sand quads (photos here)!
It was so fun to watch them transfer their snow machine skills to sand quads and help them learn to shift. They got into it pretty quickly and loved playing around on the little hills near the beach. It's so fun to take advantage of opportunities down south that we don't have in Alaska to give our kids a variety of experiences!
