We spent some of the first days of 2018 (and last days of winter break) at the cabin. We named this moose Martha and watched her eat around the driveway for the better part of an hour.

We're loving evening fires at the skating rink. Since it's not safe to burn in our area in the summer, we've been enjoying the beauty and warmth of wintertime fires.
Trapper loves to chase sledders! It's much more fun for him than for the people sledding. We're hoping he'll stop herding and biting sledders one of these days...
The lack of leaves in the wintertime lets us glimpse Denali from our own yard!
