Our Weekend

We had quite a nice weekend, hope you did too!  On Saturday we stuck close to home.  In the interest of not doing it on Monday morning, we counted out the 100 things for the 100th day celebration at school today.  Then we forgot them at home when we went to school this morning and to run back for them! 

Yes.  I am the mom that let them take sugary stuff...

The sun is back.  Scott spotted it Friday and we spotted it Saturday...

On Sunday we raced down to stand in it...

It was so warm!  Today's it's cloudy again and there are snowflakes in the forecast for the end of the week.

The girls and I did a little art project yesterday as well.  In progress...

And now hanging on the wall in the playroom...

It's a Pinterest idea.  She had way cuter frames, but oh well.  I love the way they turned out and I love the way the girls accessorized the wall as well.  That's Kelsey's handwriting on the left there, and Stacy's on the right.

We also made a quick run into town to visit a friend's home for the Superbowl.  While the game wasn't much to write home about (though of course I cried at the Budweiser commercials) it was nice to catch up with and make new friends.  The kids enjoyed themselves, too.
