Life rarely goes exactly to plan, does it? Of course not...especially when you have two kids and a stomach bug going around town! Stacy fell ill on Wednesday night and Kelsey on Friday night. Kelsey's bout was much milder, but we had planned to go grocery shopping on Saturday so we ended up dividing and conquering...Scott stayed home with Kelsey and Stacy and I went shopping. It was a beautiful Saturday along Turnagain Arm!
On our way home we caught this bore tide as we neared Girdwood. In my whole four years of being an Alaska resident I had to to be in the right place at the right time to see one! It was pretty cool, as you can tell by watching the video and listening to Stacy's excitement!
