A Weekend Away

Ahhh! We're so refreshed after a weekend away in Anchorage! Scott's work life has been pretty hectic lately, so to give him a breather we spent Saturday night at the Homewood Suites Anchorage. This has become our favorite Anchorage hotel...although now that I say that I'm not sure we've tried any others! The rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast is fantastic, there's an in-room kitchen to cook dinner if you want and the pool is big and (usually) not too crowded. It was pretty hectic this weekend, but we got our quality swimming time in. Like all kids, ours *love* the pool and we spend a good chunk of our time at the hotel getting ready to go to, going to, or cleaning up from going to the pool. This weekend we met some friends in town, so the pool was even more fun! On Sunday Scott and the girls swam while I got groceries (a LOT of groceries!) and then we came on home.
