Happy 4th of July, everyone! Excitement is high here...the Whittier Parade begins around noon and the girls cannot decide if it will be more fun to ride in the fire truck or watch. There's some debate about missing out on candy...Kelsey pitched a possible solution. She'll ride and throw the candy to Stacy and I. That way she'll get to ride, but she'll also get some candy, too!
I'll post pics later on! For now, here's a shot of the fireworks last night...Whittier does theirs at midnight on July 3. It was a very nice display, though I was the only one in the family who was awakened by it.
