Washington--Horseback Riding

Yeah.  I know.  It's not a horse.  As we do, halfway through our trip we flip the Grandparents' house we are staying at.  The afternoon that we moved up to Battle Ground to stay with Scott's folks we came into Vancouver to attend "Cruisin' the 'Couve".  It's like a car parade...you sit in one place and all of the cars come to you!  The road isn't closed, so you also get the 2000 Honda minivan in there as well, but there are LOTS of classic cars and the streets are lined with onlookers!  We were right across the street from the downtown DQ, so of course we had a treat!

The next big Battle Ground event was horseback riding.  Grandma and the girls went to the neighbors who always generously let the kids come over and ride.  They always look forward to this outing!

It's always tough to take pictures in the arena...so bright outside and shaded inside!  The girls rode for hours and were so excited to get to give the horses a bath afterwards!  We're so grateful for friends and neighbors who are willing to share their time and expertise with us!
