Last Day of School

No more pencils!  No more books!  No more...wait...I am the teacher...and I still give dirty looks! ;-)  School wrapped up for us last Tuesday, though we were there through the end of the week cleaning and prepping for next year.  We had our graduation the Friday before, combined with our annual end of the year party.  The graduates roasted us a pig, and we had lots of yummy potluck food.

Here's Kelsey...

And here's Stacy...

It's very easy to get pictures that capture Stacy's silly personality right now!  It's not very easy to get serious or even just smiley shots, though!

We made it through this year, fully intact.  It was a big year for us, with me back to work.  I have never left a school year on such a high note--it didn't feel like the last days of school until it really was the last last couple of days.  I am really excited about next year--we have some fun stuff in store and I am really looking forward to it.  I've never left for summer already excited about the next year--that's a totally new experience for me.  I think it speaks to what a great team of people I work with and what neat kids we get to hang out with daily.  Our school is a pretty special place!
