We had a fun weekend!! Scott went up to spend the weekend with some friends and the girls and I stayed here in Whittier. Saturday we ran a whole bunch of errands in the midst of the PFD craziness in town! Seems like I make this mistake every year...going to town the weekend after PFDs are deposited. Gah! It was pure chaos at Sam's Club. We also hit WalMart and JoAnn's but it was early in the day and not so crazy there. We also visited a friend in the hospital, went to gymnastics, and Kelsey and I got haircuts. And we were home on the 4:30 tunnel! Why? Because we wanted to have a lazy Sunday!
Our Sunday was much slower than Saturday. We did some sewing, some baking, some cleaning, some playing and some lounging. It was so nice to have a day at home to just do what we wanted to do. In the afternoon we headed outside for a bit to soak up a bit of fall sunshine...
Funny how they can be at each other's throats inside and then we go outside and there is total peace. Mama loves peace! Mama also loves playing with her camera....

And then the sun went behind the hill and it was chilly! Since the girls had been playing in the water we didn't last long.
