Last year it appeared on February 4. The year before on February 3. This year...January 31! This has been a rough winter and realistically we still have several months of winter ahead of us. But it feels like spring is just around the corner when the sun starts shining on Whittier again!
What a pretty picture! I'm sure that the sunshine is very welcome, although with your upcoming blizzard it might be awhile again before you see some more of it.
