We were first introduced to these socks by Auntie Gwen who gave the girls each a pair during their first year. They wore them until the heels hit the middle of their feet and then I had to learn to make them some new ones! Turns out it's pretty quick and easy--and yields a product the girls love, love, love! I made them some for their Christmas stockings and then another pair each for their Easter baskets. And those originals from Auntie Gwen? Well, since they also included beads that spelled the girls' names I have them set aside--some day I'll take them apart and re-use the buttons and beads. Someday!
